This 53 meter 1B ice-class expedition vessel was originally built in 1968 for the Danish North Sea Patrol and Assistance.
Her ice strengthened hull is both fast and sturdy—allowing her to easily navigate through the ice. The Nanook complies with the highest environmental standards through remarkably economical engines running on low amounts of light fuel oil.
